The recreation of Great Artist's lives on Video
Imagine how inspired your children will be when they see the life of a great artist recreated on video? What a fabulous way to start your Art Day!
Click on the county to see the schools in which I have performed my re-creations of artist’s lives and delivered my famous artist workshops and art in schools. Some of these schools I have worked in many times. I no longer go into schools, but I now use the experience gained to create famous artist videos for use in art in schools.
The tutorials are suitable for children of all ages.
Thank you for giving us a wonderful day yesterday. Absolutely everyone was enthralled with every bit. The children got so much out of your teaching and their resulting artwork was amazing.
I really hope you may feel that you could come to us again another time…

I wanted to say thank you so much for your workshop yesterday, the children really enjoyed it and there has been great feedback. Julian and I also learnt a lot from you and are delighted with how it all went. We will certainly be asking you to come back to do another artist for us, if you’ll come!
Alison Robertson, Head of Art
Thank you so much for the art day and INSET. It was very successful. We have photos up on the school website and everyone was raving about it the next day. Clare, our head, has expressed a great deal of interest in repeating the experience (obviously with your different guest artists) a number of times throughout the year (possibly each half term if you can manage it). I just wondered if you could let me know your availability and a quote for a number of visits booked at one time.
A very (overdue) big thank you for your visit! The school was buzzing during and after your visit as Kandinsky, from staff and children alike. Children have been talking about you non-stop! We were amazed at how you captivated so many children in the workshops, and teachers really liked your visits to classrooms in the afternoon.
I have had a steady stream of children over the past couple of weeks since your visit to show me further work they have done inspired by Kandinsky and your visit. In the words of our PTA chair who funded your visit – ‘the stuff primary school memories are made of’.
I just wanted to take the opportunity to thank you for your visit to Maple Court. Since your visit I have had lots of positive comments from staff and pupils. The children said how much they loved the day and have commented on what they have learnt about Van Gogh. We now have several displays around the school of the children’s sunflowers.
The staff all commented on how interesting the assembly was and that the staff training was by far one of the best we have had for a very long time, enjoyable and informative! So many people have approached me since to say that they now feel much more confident when drawing and that they have implemented the techniques in class, plus many have said they have been drawing at home and their friends and family have been impressed with their artwork! So thank you once again and I hope to do business with you in the future!
Thank you so much for your visit! The children were inspired on the day and continue to be so with much creativity coming from your input. My head and deputy heads are all amazed at what you achieved and how you impacted the children. The teachers have actually enjoyed delivering further art lessons as they felt confident now to do so! Again, many thanks and I certainly look forward to doing it all again next year!

You visited Yateley Manor School this week and I wanted to thank you for giving my Daughter such a fabulous day. Lucy did not stop talking about you from the minute she got into the car! She told me all about the artist, Lowry, how art reflects a variety of events and was so pleased with her ‘people’ drawings. Thanks for a great day.
Yvonne Tickle, Head of Art
I just wanted to say a big thank you for your visit this week. Martin and I were both incredibly happy with the way the day unfolded – what you did was absolutely spot on, so thank you. I hope you’ll be able to visit us again; I will also discuss possible options with St Mary’s primary school and get back to you..
Marie Evans
Thanks very much for your visit to St Marys. The children (and staff) had a fantastic day and learnt lots. The art work produced was wonderful. There were lots of very postive comments from all of the staff about the quality of the presentation and the work you did with the children. I am going in to school over the half term to put up a display of the drawings and paintings We will certainly book you in the future. Once again thanks for an excellent and enjoyable day.

‘Just wanted to say how much the staff and children enjoyed the work that you did with them. There has been some super feedback about how you engaged the children in the assembly and the brilliant work the children have done in their sketch books and paintings, which are already on display. One member of staff said, “Worth every penny, book him again he was brilliant.” ‘
